Frequently Asked questions

Bridges to STEM is GDIT’s first-ever initiative designed specifically for emerging talent to understand real-world STEM careers, from the lens of actual people working at a leading technology company. While this first event is primarily advertised to HBCU students and early alumni, all are welcome to participate.

This is not a sit-and-listen webinar discussing the same-old career advice. We’ve assembled GDIT’s best and brightest technology and culture thought leaders to share their career lessons and insights about how to plan for and navigate a career in STEM. The virtual session is highly participatory, with brief panel discussion and engaging Q&A in small group conversations across two days (90 minutes each day).
There is no recruiting or sales at this event. The conversations will have no bearing on interviews or recruitment actions, even if a participant is in the application process.
Pre-registration is required. You will receive an email confirmation of your registration. You may then login to the virtual site with your email address and password.

On the days of the event, you may login through a mobile device, tablet, or a desktop computer. Since the event centers on engaging conversations, please consider your surroundings and try to maximize your internet connectivity to ensure high quality video streaming.
No, you do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have access to the internet.
